The smartphone has become the reference point for laptops. Buyers expect all-day battery, instant resume and always-on connectivity, and processor platforms that power phone experiences, including ARM-based Copilot+ PCs, are positioned to meet those expectations.
Launch activity rose through 2025: Techarc tracked 20 launches in Q1, 20 in Q2 and 28 in Q3, with ASUS (21) and Lenovo (16) the most active brands. Satisfaction is high but not uniform. Laptops in Techarc's Premium segment average ₹1,33,273, rated 4.37 stars with an NPS of 56, yet 9% of ratings are one star, driven mostly by service and setup friction rather than hardware. For 2026, Techarc expects launches built around specific use cases rather than general-purpose machines.
